Radiesse® 

 

 

Radiesse® is a safe, next generation cosmetic dermal filler, launched in 2000  in the US and becoming increasingly more popular as it tends to last longer than other leading fillers.

 Medical studies have shown that Radiesse is a safe, longer lasting treatment. It tends to gradually breakdown after 18 months to 2 years.

Radiesse was designed for the correction of large and small soft tissue creases ( lines and wrinkles) around the nose and mouth restoring a younger fresher appearance. It can also be used for facial contouring/shaping such as cheek enhancement, chin and nose augmentation. 

The results of a Radiesse treatment are immediate. 

Radiesse is made of calcium-based microspheres  suspended in a natural gel, it is injected into the skin through a small needle which is minimally invasive. Once in place the microspheres stimulate your skin to produce new collagen. These spheres contain calcium and phosphate ions found naturally in human tissues.

It is a long lasting, non permanent dermal filler with none of the risks associated with permanent implants.
